Data Deletion Instructions
Effective date: 11 August 2026
This page explains how AdamX customers and users can delete information directly from the platform or request formal deletion of data associated with their account.
1. Delete Data from the AdamX Platform
Authorized AdamX administrators can delete certain information directly through the AdamX administration interface.
Depending on the services and permissions enabled for your organization, this may include:
- Users — authorized administrators can remove users from their organization's AdamX account.
- Messaging templates — authorized administrators can delete supported messaging templates through the AdamX interface.
- Other configurable platform data — additional information may be removable through the relevant administration settings where deletion functionality is available.
Deletion of information associated with a connected third-party platform, such as WhatsApp or Meta, may also be subject to that platform's own deletion, retention, and API policies.
2. Request Deletion of Your Data
Customers may also submit a written request for AdamX to delete personal or customer data associated with their AdamX account.
Send your request to: [email protected]
Please use the subject: Data Deletion Request
To help us identify and process the request, please provide:
- Your name
- Your organization/company name
- Your AdamX account or registered email address
- A description of the data you would like deleted
- Any relevant connected service or account, such as WhatsApp, Facebook, or Instagram
Please do not send passwords, access tokens, API keys, or other authentication credentials by email.
3. Verification of Requests
To protect customer information against unauthorized deletion, AdamX may verify the identity and authority of the person submitting a deletion request.
For organization-controlled data, we may require the request to come from an authorized administrator or other authorized representative of the organization.
We will not perform account-level deletion based on an unverified request where we cannot reasonably establish the requester's authority.
4. What Happens After a Deletion Request
After receiving and verifying a valid deletion request, AdamX will identify the information covered by the request and take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it from applicable AdamX systems.
Some information may need to be retained where necessary for:
- Legal or regulatory obligations
- Security and fraud prevention
- Financial and accounting records
- Establishing or defending legal claims
- Contractual obligations
- Backup and disaster-recovery processes
Where information remains temporarily within backups, it will remain protected and will be removed in accordance with the applicable backup retention lifecycle.
5. Connected Meta and WhatsApp Accounts
If your organization has connected Meta services, including the WhatsApp Business Platform, Facebook, or Instagram, you may disconnect the applicable integration or revoke AdamX's authorization through the relevant Meta business settings where available.
AdamX will stop accessing new information through an authorization after the applicable integration or authorization has been disconnected or revoked.
Data already processed by AdamX may be deleted through the AdamX platform where self-service deletion is available or through a formal data deletion request as described on this page.
Some information maintained directly by Meta or another third-party platform is controlled by that platform and may need to be managed through the platform's own account, privacy, or deletion controls.
6. Messaging Templates
Where supported, authorized administrators can delete messaging templates from the AdamX administration interface.
For templates associated with third-party messaging platforms such as WhatsApp, AdamX may send the corresponding deletion request to the third-party platform through its API.
Deletion within AdamX does not override any independent retention requirements or records maintained by the applicable third-party platform.
7. User Removal
Authorized administrators may remove users from their organization through the AdamX administration interface.
Removing a user prevents that user from continuing to access the organization's AdamX account, subject to the platform's applicable authentication and session controls.
If the organization requires deletion of personal information associated with the removed user beyond the available self-service controls, an authorized representative may submit a formal deletion request to [email protected].
8. Written Confirmation
Customers requesting formal deletion may request written confirmation once AdamX has completed the applicable deletion process.
AdamX will provide confirmation to the verified requester or an authorized representative of the organization.
The confirmation may identify the scope of the deletion completed and any information that must continue to be retained where required by applicable law, security, contractual obligations, or other legitimate requirements.
